Audio file requirements

It is good to upload the audio files of your release in the highest possible quality. Especially on streaming services like Tidal, the difference between a good quality .wav file and an .mp3 file will be audible.

The audio files of your release must officially meet the following conditions:

– 16 or 24-bit
– 44.1 kHz
– .wav, .flac or .aiff

In most cases we can also process .mp3 files, but keep in mind that stores sometimes reject them because they do not meet the quality requirements.
